the yellow moth
sometimes even the most
humble of creatures
is invested
with a singular nobility
a haunting radiance
as if the sacred glory
and wondrous mystery
of spirit
which invisibly sustains
all life
has chosen this being
as its vessel
a window through which
to shine
revealing its presence
within the kingdom
of shadows
