Trouble on My Mind

I took my toothbrush, took my pen

IÕm on the road again

IÕm on the highway

ThereÕs women waiting at the end of the road

Not exactly the woman I wanted to hold

But anyway, itÕs more than some folks got

Been on the road before, be on it again

ThatÕs probably where my lifeÕs gonna end

Least IÕm livinÕ

When I get back IÕm gonna settle down

HmmmÉthatÕs what I said last time Ôround

You aughta know me by now, and

Honey canÕt you tell when I got trouble on my mind

Honey canÕt you tell when I got trouble on my mind

In out of trouble

In out of trouble

All the time

Well now the police they tried to put me in jail

But my crazy schemes they never fail

Only my dreams do

And IÕm kept busy most every night

But the big things, they never seem to turn out right

And IÕm still wonderinÕ why that is, and

Honey canÕt you tell when I got trouble on my mind

Honey canÕt you tell when I got trouble on my mind

In out of trouble

In out of trouble

All the time

Been on the road before, be on it again

ThatÕs probably where my lifeÕs gonna end

Least IÕm livinÕ

When I get back IÕm gonna settle down

HmmmÉthatÕs what I said last time around

You aughta know me by now, and

Honey canÕt you tell when I got trouble on my mind

Honey canÕt you tell when I got trouble on my mind

In out of trouble

In out of trouble

In out of trouble

In out of trouble
